Neva Jane Leindecker

Jane Leindecker, 80, of 4009 Clay Drive, Dover, Ohio died Saturday, July 3, 2004 in Union Hospital at Dover.

She was a former employee of Sparta Ceramic Tile in East Sparta and had previously worked at the former Dover-New Phila Laundry.

Born February 11, 1924 in Noble County, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mina Ralph Hizer.

Jane enjoyed playing bingo.

She is survived by her husband, Charles H. Leindecker with whom she celebrated 53 years of marriage on June 16.

She is also survived by her daughter and son in law Becky and Don Shanower of New Philadelphia; one grandson, Shane Shanower and his companion, Pam Wesie of Stone Creek; one granddaughter, Shana (David) Norman of New Philadelphia and a great grandson Evan Shanower.

Jane was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at 2pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Pastor Sue Koenig officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Friends can call at the funeral home on Monday from 6-8 pm.
