Janet L. Class

Janet L. Class, 99, of Dover died Friday, April 22, 2016 in the Community Hospice House.

Born March 30, 1917 in Mineral City she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Janette Lindsay Williams. Janet was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold R. Class on December 27, 1967; daughter, Wilma Cropper; son in law, LeRoy Menegay and great grandson, William J. Barkheimer.

Janet retired from East Sparta Ceramic Tile Company after 28 years of service. She had also worked multiple jobs in Zoar while raising her five grandchildren. She enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians, puzzles, playing cards and she always looked forward to visits from her grand and great grandchildren.

Janet is survived by her daughter, Betty Menegay of Dover; grandchildren, Vickie (Charles) Cole of North Carolina, Harold (Kelly) Cropper, Diann (Hal) Holshoy both of Canton, Mark (Nancy) Cropper, David Cropper both of New Philadelphia; 14 great grandchildren and 22 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 26 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Pastor LuAnn Youngman officiating. Interment will be in the Zoar Cemetery.
