Janice L. Nowak

Janice L. Nowak, 73, of Dover, Ohio, and formerly of West Springfield, MA, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021 in the New Dawn Retirement Community, Dover.

Born June 14, 1947 in Springfield, MA she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Beulah Marcinik Malachowski. Janice was also preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Nowak.

Janice had worked as a secretary for Hamilton Standard for many years. Restoring antique furniture was her passion, and she was the owner of her own restoration business. Janice loved being outdoors, especially camping; in her spare time she enjoyed playing cards with her friends and cooking for her family.

Janice is survived by her son, William (Shelly) Nowak of Dover; siblings, Michael (Wendy) Smith, Cynthia Smith, Diane (Michael Moretto) Malachowski, Steve (Shelley) Malachowski, Stan (Susan) Malachowski, Sandra Malachowski; five grandchildren, one great grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
