Jillian L. “Weezie” Campbell, 22, of 1103 N. Crater Ave., Dover, Ohio left this world from being an angel to being an angel in heaven on Sunday, March 24, 2002 in the Cleveland Clinic following a brief illness.
She was an employee of SEI Workshop.
Born September 13, 1979 in Dover, she was the daughter of Frank and Debbie Dessecker Campbell of Dover.
Jill was a 1999 graduate of Dover High School. She attended both the Dover Baptist Church in Dover and the Assembly of God Church at New Philadelphia. She was an Elvis fan and enjoyed music and old movies. She also loved spending time with her dog, Winston.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers; Jamey (Shanna) Campbell of New Philadelphia and Jeremy Campbell of Akron. Grandparents, Dale and Beverly Dessecker of Dover, Hannelore Corpman of New Philadelphia and Charles (Ila) Campbell of New Philadelphia; her niece, Sawyer Rayne Campbell and nephew, Jacoby Ryder Campbell both of New Philadelphia along with many nieces, nephews,aunts, uncles, and cousins and her special friends Jason Mercer and Jennifer Graham and her many friends at the workshop.
She was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Karl and Ada Dessecker, Luther and Grace Everhart, Mae Campbell, and Wanda Budde and her step grandfather, Stan Corpman.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 28, 2002 at 10 am in the Dover Baptist Temple with Pastor Chris Rhodes and Pastor Larry Fletcher officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover Wednesday from 4-8 pm and at the church Thursday from 9-10 am.
