Joan L. Miller

Joan L. Miller, 71, of 216 James St., Dover, Ohio died Friday, September 14, 2001 at Aultman Hospital in Canton following a brief illness.

Joan was a receptionist for her husband in his accounting practice in Dover.

Born July 18, 1930 in Dover, she was the daughter of the late Charles J. and Clara Beatty Luthy.

Joan was a member of the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church at Dover and it�(TM)s Altar Guild, Clara Sullivan Circle and the J.C. Miller Sunday school class.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene “Duby” Miller with whom she celebrated 50 years of marriage May 12.

She is also survived by her daughter and son in law Diane (Lindsey) Williams of Alpharetta, Georgia and her son and daughter in law Randy (Sandy) Miller of Dublin, Ohio.

Three granddaughters Lisa and Teri Miller and Sarah Williams

One brother Lemoyne (Betty) Luthy of Dover and one sister, Janet (Robert) Phillips of Dover and her sister in law, Jo Luthy of Dover along with many nieces and nephews and brother in law and sister in law Atty. Wilford (Jody) Miller of Dover.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bruce and Russell Luthy.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, Sept. 17, 2001 at 11 am in the Grace Eva. Lutheran Church at Dover with Pastor Brian Nunnally officiating. Entombment will be in the Garden of Peace Mausoleum at Dover Burial Park. Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home in Dover Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm.
