Joanne Rondinella

Joanne Rondinella, 82, of Dover died Friday, April 12, 2013 at Union Hospital.

Born November 26, 1930 in Dover she was a daughter of the late William and Ada Pearch Lentz. Joanne was also preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Ross "Skip" Rondinella on December 8, 2006; sister, Margaret Dunbar and a brother, Don Lentz.

Joanne retired from Dover City Schools after 25 years of service having worked in the cafeteria and retiring as the Cafeteria Manager. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and in her spare time she enjoyed reading, baking and playing cards with her friends.

A wonderful and loving mother and grandmother, Joanne will be sadly missed by her children, Steve (Beth) Rondinella of Dover, Beth (Richard) Brindley of Ashland and Kay (Mike) DeMonte of Dover; grandchildren, Mitchell Gehrisch, Adam, Logan and Ellie Rondinella, Jacob Brindley, Amanda (Mike) Young, Angela (Ray) Grewell, Paul, Genaro and Maria DeMonte; great grandchildren, Paxton Young, Vinny and Nico Marsh and Angelina Grewell; brothers and sisters in law, Chic (Irene) Cercone, Reynolds Casmir, Popeye (Mary) Rondinella and Evelyn Rondinella and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 15 at 2:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Dr. William C. Haggis officiating. Interment will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery at Dover. Friends can call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Monday.
