JoAnne Smith, 69, of New Philadelphia died Sunday, June 18, 2000, in the home of her dear friend for the past 30 years, Shirley Shull, following a brief illness.
She had been an employee of the Marlite Co. for nearly 50 years.
Born Oct. 26, 1930, at Dover, she was a daughter of the late Owen Eugene and Dorothy Elizabeth Grimm Smith.
JoAnne enjoyed bowling and loved playing bingo.
Survivors include a nephew, Matthew and Traci Smith of New Philadelphia; a niece, Amy L. Smith of New Philadelphia; a great-nephew and great-niece, Rayce and Maison Smith of New Philadelphia; and a sister-in-law, Joyce Smith of New Philadelphia.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, James O. Smith.
A public graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 20, at 10 a.m. in East Avenue Cemetery at New Philadelphia with Rev.
