John B. Pyle, 89, of Pyle Rd. N.W., Dover, Ohio died Sunday, October 8, 2006 in Union Hospital following a brief illness.
John was a self employed appliance repairman.
Born June 22, 1917 in Somerdale, Ohio, he was the son of the late Ray and Susie Ludy Pyle.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran during World War II and enjoyed horses, fishing and traveling and spending time on his hobby farm.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Guedel Pyle who died May 19, 2001 and his son, John P. Pyle.
He is survived by his granddaughters, Linda (Michael) Mizwicki of Antioch, Illinois and Amy (Felson) Diemling of Dover along with his daughter in law, JoAnne Pyle of Dover.
Funeral services celebrating John�(TM)s life will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at 11am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover with Pastor Jimmy McDonald officiating. Interment will be in the Brandywine Cemetery in Dover. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday (today) from 6-8pm.
