John C. Lieser, 65, of Dover died Saturday, July 6, 2002 at Morning View Care Center following an extended illness.
He had worked at the former Weavers Garage in Dover and at John Cooksen�(TM)s in New Philadelphia.
Born May 25, 1937 in Dover he was a son of the late Carl and Maxine McCarthy Lieser.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was an avid NASCAR fan.
John is survived by his brother: William (Gloria) Lieser of Dover
Three sisters: Patricia Schweitzer of Dover
Sandra Dallacheisa of Dover
Marlene Campbell of Bolivar
12 nieces and nephews, 13 great nieces and nephews and 5 great great nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters: Mary Schaar and Margaret Lieser.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2002 at 10:30 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Msr. George Schlegel officiating. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Dover. Friends can call at the funeral home on Monday from 7-9 pm with Christian Wake Services starting at 8:45 pm.
