John E. Rothacher

John E. Rothacher, 72, of Dover passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at the Community Hospice Truman House following a brief illness.

Born June 14, 1949, in Dover, he was the son of the late Earl and Helen (Johnson) Rothacher. On August 21, 1970, he married Sandy Davie in Huntsville, Alabama with whom he recently celebrated 51 years of marriage.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by siblings; Linda (Charlie) Gardner, Robert Rothacher, Brenda (Rick) Harsha, Danny, Roger, and Mitchell Rothacher; his daughter, Yvonne (Dennis) Pearson, of Brooksville; and Crystal (Bryan) Sheneman of Dover; his son, John (Tina) Jr. of Manning, SC. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; Ashley (Sheneman) Langenfeld, Courtney and Brandon Sheneman, and Tyler, Hailey, Dylan, and Austin Rothacher.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Joey Rothacher, sister, Judy Ferrell, and grandson, Bradley Rothacher.
