John F. Tarulli, 74, of 850 Bellevue Ave. North, Dover, Ohio died Wednesday, October 8, 2003 in his home following a brief illness.
He retired in 1992, as an employee of the former Robinson Clay Products in Parral where he worked for over 37 years.
Born January 8, 1929 in Dover, he was the son of the late Chester and Lucia�(TM) DiNino Tarulli.
John was a member of the New Philadelphia Elks Lodge and the Dover VFW. He served in the Corp. of Engineers of the US Army during the Korean War. He was an avid golfer.
John is survived by his wife Betty Maple Tarulli with whom he celebrated 51 years of marriage on May 3. He is also survived by three sons and a daughter Dan Tarulli and Rick Tarulli and his companion, Kerry Weisbruch all of California; Cindy (Nick) Hutras of Hilliard, Ohio and Frank (Becky) Tarulli of Aurora, Ohio; Five grandchildren Jason Tarulli, Katie Tarulli, Talia Hutras, John and Frank Tarulli.
Four brothers Gene (Jeanette) Tarulli of New Philadelphia Pat (Madeline) Tarulli of Dover Dean Tarulli of Dover Chet (Julie) Tarulli of New Philadelphia; Two sisters Clara (Delbert) Nething of Canton and Rita (Dave) Amick of Lakeland, Florida; Three sisters in law Helen Tarulli, Barbara (Dick) Shannon and Bonnie (Don) Warner.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a brother, Tom Tarulli.
A celebration of John�(TM)s life will be held Monday, October 13, 2003 at 11 am in the St. Joseph�(TM)s Catholic Church at Dover with Fr. William Arnold and Rev. Ardella Hager officiating. Entombment will be in the Garden of Peace Mausoleum at Dover Burial Park where the Dover VFW will conduct military graveside services. A reception will follow at the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center. Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home in Dover on Sunday from 2-5 pm.
