John J. Corpman

John J. Corpman, 93, of New Philadelphia passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018 at Aultman Hospital in Canton following a sudden illness.

Born on November 28, 1924 in New Philadelphia, he was the son of the late John F. and Elizabeth (Griffin) Corpman. He attended New Philadelphia High School. He was a well known car mechanic throughout the community for many years.

He will be sadly missed by his four daughters; Sheila (Dan) Renicker of Gnadenhutten, Jan (Larry) McBride of New Philadelphia, Micki (Paul) Wheeler of Corydon, Kentucky, Tina (Joseph “Jody”) Kauderer of New Philadelphia; along with eight grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, and two sisters.

In honoring John’s wishes, cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover. There will be no services or calling hours.
