John Stanley Czerepak

John Stanley Czerepak, 46, of New Philadelphia passed away suddenly at Union Hospital in Dover on Tuesday, February 11, 2020.

John was born in Dover on February 6, 1974. He was the son of the late David Czerepak. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Phillip and Augustine Czerepak.

He graduated from New Philadelphia High School with the class of 1992. He received his associate's degree in Automotive Technology from Stark State College and co-owned and managed NextGen Auto & Repair in Dover.

On September 3, 2005, he married the love of his life, Christina Parks, who survives. He will also be sadly missed by his three children; Mercedes “Sadie” (21), Logan (16), and Hailie (15) Czerepak all of New Philadelphia; sister, Katherine “Kat” (Evan) Parks; his aunt and uncle, Mary and Jim Elco of New Philadelphia; mother-in-law, Rosalva Parks of Missouri; father-in-law, Howard Parks of Canton; his brother-in-law, David Parks of Missouri; along with nieces, nephews, and cousins.

John was an avid Star Trek fan. He loved baseball and enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians. He was also a Cleveland Browns fan. Pink Floyd was one of his favorite bands and also loved working on computers.

John was a caring husband, father, friend, and coach. His children will remember him as being pushy, but supportive. “I can’t” was his least favorite phrase, because he always believed that you could. He was fearless, and never gave up, even when it felt hopeless. Everyone who knew him was blessed because they always had him in their corner. He will forever be remembered as the bravest, strongest, smartest, funniest and most supportive man. Everyone who knew him loved him and he will forever be missed.
