John W. Mcnutt

John W. McNutt, 59, of Dover, Ohio died Friday, June 29, 2001 in his home following a courageous battle with cancer.

John was a 36 year teamster where he was a truckdriver for ABF Truck Lines in Canton until illness forced his retirement.

Born June 3, 1942 in New Philadelphia, Ohio, he was the son of the late Edward and Florence Johnson McNutt.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dover. He served in the US Air Force. He loved and enjoyed spending time with his family.

John is survived by his wife Barbara Montgomery McNutt with whom he celebrated 26 years of marriage on March 26.

He is also survived by two sons John E. (Brenda) McNutt and Kevin VanKirk McNutt and his fiancée Melanie Pope all of New Philadelphia and two daughters Mary (Brian) Anderson and Cristal McNutt and her fiancée Scott Westfall all of Dover.
Two Brothers Samuel (Bev) McNutt and James (Pat) McNutt both of Dover and his sister, Marsha (Wil) Handrich of Dover and three grandsons and five grand daughters.

Funeral Services will be held Monday at 1:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Rev. Joseph Glassner officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Burial Park in New Philadelphia. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday (today) from 2-4 & 6-8 pm.
