Joseph Duane Wolf, 49, of Dennison, Ohio died Friday, January 4, 2002 in the Cleveland Clinic following an extended illness.
Illness forced his retirement in 1995. He was a Certified Respiratory Therapist for over 20 years. He was formerly the Cardiopulmonary Director at Twin City Hospital and a former employee of Union Hospital.
Born October 3, 1952 in Napoleon, Ohio, he was the son of Duane W. and Beatrice L. Bankey Wolf of Dover.
Joe was a 1970 graduate of Dover High School, attended the Broward County Community College in Florida and was a US Navy Veteran. He was a member of the Dennison Rotary, Tuscarawas County Coin Club, and was a Life Member of the North American Hunting Association. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
In addition to his parents, Joe is survived by his daughter, Amy Jo Wolf of Dennison. Three Sisters, Marjorie Ann (Dr. John Raymond) Engle of Hilliard, Ohio, Penny Jayne Davidson of Dover, and Patti Jean (William D.) Karl of New Philadelphia; three stepchildren, Jenny (James) Conner, Becky (Thomas) Zurcher, and Harold ''Haddie'' Thompson along with several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Private Funeral Services will be held Saturday in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with cremation to follow services. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
