Joseph J. Incarnato Iii

Joseph J. (Joe) Incarnato III, 57, of 139 Fair Ave. N.W., New Philadelphia, Ohio died unexpectedly Friday, May 11, 2007 in his home.

Joe was a boiler operator for Holmes By-Products in Millersburg.

Born April 25, 1950 in Dover, he was the son of Joseph J. (Dixie) Incarnato Jr. of Dover and Antoinette June Mathews and her longtime Mel Gibbons of East Sparta.

Joe served in the Medical Corp. and was a radiologist in the US Army during the Viet Name era. He also served in the National Guard for two years. He loved bicycling and was a television buff and especially enjoyed watching old movies. He also loved music and collecting old albums.

In addition to his parents, Joe is survived by two sisters and five brothers; Jayne (James) DeNicola of Winter Springs, Florida, James V. Incarnato of Dover, Valerie (Phil) Hootman of New Philadelphia, Mark A. Incarnato of East Sparta, Steven P. Dennis of New Philadelphia, Vincent T. Incarnato of Dover, Kelly Patrick Incarnato of Dover; a stepbrother, James Murphy of Dover and a stepsister, Cindy (Kelly) Fisher of Dover along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Joe was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joe and Effie Incarnato and his maternal grandparents, Raymond and Pauline Mathews.

A Rite of Christian Burial will be held Friday evening, May 18, 2007 at 8pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover with Fr. William Arnold officiating. Cremation will take place and a private burial will be held in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 6-8pm.
