Joseph ''Joe'' Demarco

Joseph “Joe” DeMarco, 76, of New Philadelphia died Saturday, June 8, 2002 at the Country Club Retirement Center following a brief illness.

He retired as the owner/operator of DeMarco Painting and had also worked at Reeves.

Born September 16, 1925 in Clearfield, Pennsylvania he was a son of the late Joseph and Alice Malinda Stull DeMarco Sr.

He was a member of St. John�(TM)s United Church of Christ in Dover and the Dover Elks. He enjoyed fishing and playing pool.

Joe is survived by his wife Dorothy Guedel DeMarco with whom he celebrated 50 years of marriage on March 2, 2002.

He is also survived by a daughter: Kathy (Dave) Kiser of New Philadelphia

Two sons: Brad (Tracie) DeMarco of Burlesson, Texas
Kevin (Leslie) DeMarco of Reynoldsburg, Ohio

Four grandchildren: Amy (Chris) McMillen
Melissa (Chad) Smart
Joshua DeMarco
Caleb DeMarco
Many nieces and nephews

He was also preceded in death by a sister: Mary Barcus

Half brother: Fred Flint

Half sister: Lois Vickers

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2002 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Rev. Steve Daniels officiating. Interment will be at the Ridgcrest Memory Gardens. Friends can call at the funeral home on Wednesday one hour prior to the service.
