Josephine "Joey" Cugliari

Josephine "Joey" Cugliari, 76, of Dover passed away on Friday, December 25, 2015 at Hennis Care Center in Dover.

Born on August 26, 1939 in Dover, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Marguerita (Pace) Cugliari. She is also preceded in death by her brother; Herman "Rick" Cugliari, sisters and brothers in-law; Theresa Blauch, Anna (John) Patacca, Victoria (Peter) Alesiano.

Joey worked for Starlight Workshop for many years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dover. She enjoyed music and family gatherings.

She will be sadly missed by her siblings; Frank (Rosalie) Cugliari, Sr., Norma (Joseph) Specht of Dover, and Marge (Dan) Helmick of Mt. Dora, FL; brother in- law, Clare Blauch of Edgewater, Florida; sister in-law, Margaret DeBois Cugliari of Dover; special caregivers and nieces, Margaret "Meg" Cugliari of Dover, Linda Patacca of Dover, Diana Williams of Dover, Melanie Archer of Dover; along with many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dover on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 11:00 am with Father Jimmy Hatfield officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Calvary Cemetery in Dover. Following the service of committal, a meal will be served at the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center. Friends are invited to call at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Tuesday from 10-11am. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover are handling the arrangements.
