Josiah A. 'Joe' Bosler

Josiah A. 'Joe' Bosler, 73, of 1118 E. Front St., Dover, died Monday, November 22, 1999 in Union Hospital.

He was retired from GTE where he had worked for nearly 35 years as an installer/repairman.

Born February 6, 1926 at Louisville, Ohio, he was a son of the late John Myron & Carolina Christina Huthmacher Bosler.

Joe was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church at Dover.  He was WWII veteran of the Army and also served in the Air Force.

He is survived by his wife Jutta (Keese) Bosler, whom he wed on January 14, 1949.

Grandchildren Stephanie Murphy, Stacy Murphy, and Greg Murphy
Great Grandson Erick Beers
Brother Glenn Bosler of Dover
Niece Alice
Nephews Kevin & Alan
Several step nieces and step nephews

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by a sister, Marjorie Brooks.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 26, at 11:00am in Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Pastor Jeff Lee officiating.  Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park.  Friends may call in the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8, and one hour prior to services on Friday.  Those unable to attend may sign the on-line register book for Joe by visiting the 'on-line' obituaries link on our website at www.tolandherzig.com
