Judith A. Clark, 76, of New Philadelphia passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Community Hospice Truman House.
Born on October 13, 1941 in New Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Katie (Arth) Thomas. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Gene Thomas, and sister, Dorothy Hursey.
She graduated with the class of 1959 from New Philadelphia High School. After 43 years of service, she retired from Miller Studio. She had also worked at and attended the First United Church of Christ in New Philadelphia. She was very active with the community lunch for many years.
She loved volunteering. She also enjoyed music and reading.
Judith will be sadly missed by her son; Jon Thomas Clark of Columbus; step-daughter, Thelma (Andy) Hoover of Louisville; one brother, Raymond (Elaine) Thomas of New Philadelphia; sister, Karen S. (Terry) Crites of Gnadenhutten; one step-granddaughter, Jenny Misch; two step-great grandchildren, Logan and Madelyn.
In honoring Judith’s wishes, cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 10:00am at the First United Church of Christ in New Philadelphia with Pastor Jeff Gerber officiating.
