Judith "Judy" V. Manning

Judith V. "Judy" Manning, age 75, of Dover, died Sunday, March 22, 2015, in Hennis Care Centre at Dover.

Born December 14, 1939, at Newcomerstown, Judy was a daughter of the late Arthur Ray Sr. and Mary Nell Shaeffer Ulrich. She graduated from Dover High School in 1960. She was employed by Daniels' Clothing at New Philadelphia, the W.T. Grant and Montgomery Ward Companies and AMKO, all at Dover, and New Towne Mall, New Philadelphia, in the information
booth, from which she retired.

Foremost, Judy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was also a Star Trek enthusiast, enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles and was a member of the Hennis Care Centre Residents' Council.

Survivors include her daughters, Patricia (David Price) Davis of Uhrichsville, and Wendy Daley of Dover; her step-children, Honey (Morris) Walker of King George, Virginia, Alvin (Sonia) Manning
of Portsmith, Virginia, and Jody Manning of Boston, Massachusetts, Darlynn (Mike) Hickman of New Philadelphia; her granddaughter, Autumn Nicole Daley; her brothers, John (Linda) Ulrich of Pickerington, Gene (Joan) and Ray (Jade) Ulrich, both of Dover; her aunt and uncle, Gerald and Cindy Ulrich, also of Dover; her nieces and nephews; and her granddogs, Bobo, Baby and Pudge.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband of nearly twenty-three years, Claude J. "Joe" Manning, on March 17, 2010.

In honoring Judy's wishes, cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 12:00pm with Pastor Brian Flood officiating. Interment will take place at Dover Burial Park. Following the service, a meal will be served at the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center. Friends are invited to call Friday from 10am until 12:00pm.
