Judith L. Corpman, 79, of New Philadelphia died Saturday, December 20, 2003 at Morning View Care Center following an extended illness.
Born June 29, 1924 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania she was a daughter of the late William and Ida Elsworth Butts.
She, along with her husband, enjoyed traveling especially to Las Vegas. She also enjoyed cooking and being with her family and grandchildren.
Judith is survived by her husband Clarence “Roger” Corpman with whom she would have celebrated 57 years of marriage on January 4, 2004.
She is also survived by a son: Roger (Breniadine) Corpman of Canton
Daughter: Ida “Lee” Corpman of Dover
Brother: Samuel (Geraldine) Butts of Blue Springs, Missouri
Two sisters: Marjorie (Gerald) Vonkaenel of Marion, Ohio
Geraldine Russo of Modesto, California
Six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren
She was also preceded in death by two sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2003 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at 246 East High Ave. New Philadelphia, with Rev. Glen Shedlock officiating. Interment will be at Ridgecrest Memory Gardens. Following the burial a reception will be held at the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center. Friends can call at the funeral home on Monday from 6-8 pm.
