Julieta Rama Tylke

Julieta Rama Tylke, age 52, of Uhrichsville, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015, in Akron City Hospital, where she was taken after her involvement in a motor vehicle accident. Julieta had also been battling cancer the past two years.

Born September 20, 1962, in Bacolod, Lanao del Norte, Republic of the Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Patricio and Angelina Rama Villaver. Julieta graduated from Mindanao State University, Iligan Institute of Technology with a bachelor's degree in education. She came to the United States in 1995, and earned her citizenship in 2000, which she was very proud of.

Julieta was a dedicated home health aide, working both privately and for Dover's New Dawn Health Care Center. Julieta very much enjoyed time spent with her client-patients. A hard-worker, she was also employed by Christopher & Banks, New Philadelphia, and by Nickles Bakery, Navarre.

Julieta attended Immaculate Conception Church, Dennison, and belonged to the Tuscarawas County Filipino Association. She liked to travel and shop especially when it involved getting a good bargain.

She will be sadly missed by her companion, Kevin D. Moreland of Hamilton, and her many friends, including Ray Newbold of New Philadelphia, and Tomas and Marina Arejola of Dover.

In addition to her parents, Julieta was preceded in death by her husband of nine years, John Tylke Jr., in 2004.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 7, 4 5:30 p.m., in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover. A brief service will follow at 5:30. Immediately afterward, there will be a dinner in Dr. Samson's Clubhouse, Deis Lane N.W., Dover.
