June A. Huprich, 82, of Dover died Saturday, January 3, 2015 in the Schoenbrunn Health Care Center.
Born June 1, 1932 in Dover she was a daughter of the late Howard "Hap" and Thelma Patton Carruthers. June was also preceded in death by an infant brother, David Carruthers and sister in law, Mary Carruthers.
She was a 1950 graduate of Dover High School and had worked at Greer Steel for many years. June was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Tuscarawas County Philharmonic, Fortnightly Music Club and a life member of St. John's United Church of Christ at Dover. Music was her passion, she played the violin, viola, piano, organ and sang in the church choir.
June is survived by her husband of 57 years, Frederick "Fritz" Huprich whom she married on October 20, 1957; brother, Donald Carruthers of Berea and four nieces and nephews, Cathy, Kasey, Scott and Brian Carruthers and six great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 7 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Rev. Thomas Dunkle officiating. Interment will be at the Dover Burial Park. Friends can call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5-7 pm.
