June A. Paisley

June A. Paisley, 78, of Dover died Monday morning, May 6, 2013 in Aultman Hospital at Canton following an extended illness.

Born June 14, 1934 in Dennison, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Helen (Armstrong) Wills. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children, Janet and James along with five brothers and a sister.

June had many interests including reading, scrabble and enjoyed playing any word games and puzzles. She had previously been in involved in the Girl Scout program and will be especially remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mom, grandma and great grandma.

She will be sadly missed by her family including her husband of 60 years, John "Jack" Paisley with whom she married on April 4, 1953; a son, John (Susan) Paisley of Dover and daughter, Joyce (Frank) Lagatta of Columbus; four grandchildren, Crystal (Mike) O'Connor of Tuscarawas, Ben (Lyndsay) Paisley of Strasburg, Eric and Megan Lagatta both of Columbus and two great grandchildren, Noelle Paisley and Catelyn O'Connor. In addition, she is survived by three sisters, Sandy (Ken) Balder of New Philadelphia, Joanne (Ron) Kaser of Dover and Diana (Joe) Yokam of Ragersville.

Dr. George Hazlett will officiate a graveside service on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 11:00am in the Dover Burial Park with a reception to follow in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center. Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Wednesday from 4-7pm.
