June E. Denning, 85, of Dover died Saturday, October 8, 2005 at Schoenbrunn Health Care Center in New Philadelphia following an extended illness.
She retired from Alsco in Gnadenhutten after 20 years of service.
Born February 27, 1920 in New Philadelphia she was a daughter of the late Albert and Bessie Winger Swihart.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Women�(TM)s Benefit Association, Senior Citizens and she enjoyed sewing and crafts.
June was preceded in death by her husband Charles H. Denning, and is survived by two daughters, Patricia Rothacher of New Philadelphia and Linda Reynolds of New Philadelphia; son, Michael (Shirley) Denning of Farmersville, Ohio; brother, Jack (Cindy) Swihart of Michigan; sister, Margaret “Nug” Sindlinger of Dover; brother and sister in law, Robert (Dorothy) Denning of New Philadelphia; 11 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Glen and Curt Swihart.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at 2:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory at New Philadelphia with John Center officiating. Interment will be in the Ridgecrest Memory Gardens. Friends can call at the funeral home on Wednesday one hour prior to the service.
