Karen J. Baker

Karen Jean Baker, 66, of Dover, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior Saturday evening, June 22,2019, after a long period of declining health. Karen lived at Country Club Retirement Center, where she took part in many activities including listening to music, crafts and visiting with her friends. Karen was Catholic by faith and especially enjoyed Bible study and Church.

Karen was born in Rockford, Illinois and she then graduated from Bishop Moore High School in Orlando Florida . She was a loving Mother and Grandmother.

Karen leaves behind two sons, Christopher Lasher and Cody Allen; three grandsons, Brandon, Jon and Jake Lasher; one granddaughter, Malina Allen; brother James Kelly; sister Deborah Kelly, all of Florida, and her many friends in Ohio, especially Doreen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Margaret (McGovern) Kelly, and her sister Colleen.

The family would like to thank Dr. Casey Perkowski for all his excellent care. Also, we thank all staff and caregivers at Country Club Retirement Center. We also especially thank Crossroads Hospice for the care and compassion given to Karen throughout these last six months. Karen was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
