Kathryn P. White

Kathryn P. White, 60, of New Philadelphia passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Weirton Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Born on May 25, 1954 in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Willard and Carol (Stubbs) Nealey. She is also preceded in death by her step son, Scott White; granddaughter, Ali Penick; and two brothers, Web and Russell Nealey.

Kathryn attended New Philadelphia High School. She enjoyed watching football and playing cards; especially poker. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, David White, whom she married on July 3, 1980. She will also be missed by her children; Tracy (Norman) Penick of New Philadelphia, Connie (Dale) Walker of Tippecanoe, Bill (Julie) Daugherty of New Philadelphia, Katrina (Scott) Reynolds of Tippecanoe, David II (Emily) White of Tippecanoe; brother, James "Snake" (Betty) Nealey of Midvale; sister, Linda (Kenny) Mann of Roswell; along with 20 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; her special friends, Nancy Penick and Connie Head both of New Philadelphia, and many cousins.

A celebration of Kathryn's life will be held at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Monday, April 6, 2015 at 12:00pm with Pastor Florence Fellers McNutt officiating. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00am until the service starts at 12:00pm. Interment will take place at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Tippecanoe with Pastor Sandra Cappel officiating. Following the service of committal, a covered dish meal will be served at Uhrichsville Foursquare Church, 1943 North Water Street Ext, Uhrichsville.
