Kathryn Sue Wolfe, 74, a longtime Strasburg, Ohio resident died Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Aultman Woodlawn Hospice in Canton following an extended illness.
Kathy retired from Zimmer Patient Care in Dover following 24 years of service. She was also previously employed at the Shady Rest Army Navy Club where she was also a social member.
Born Oct. 17, 1943 in Summersville, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Lucille (Foster) Crawford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 17 years, W.F. (Wally) Wolfe who died Dec. 26, 1983 along with two granddaughters, Taylor and Grace Wolfe.
She will be remembered as a devoted mother having raised her sons on her own following her husband’s death at an early age. She also cherished the time spent with her grandchildren.
She will be sadly missed by her family including her two sons, Rob (companion, Heather Hunter Risley) Wolfe of New Philadelphia and Michael (wife, Amber) Wolfe of Strasburg; seven grandchildren, Alyssa and William Wolfe, Kaylah and Alyssa Ullom, Lilly Wolfe, and Sydney and Sophia Risley. Four sisters and a brother, Lula Mae Crawford, JoAnn Bunyon, Kay (Rick) Woodcock, Deborah (Steve) Hurst, Dale Ray (lifelong companion Bev) Crawford,, and Patricia Colucy.
