Kenneth D. McClintock, 71, of Dover passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 in the Community Hospice Truman House.
Born February 6, 1947 in Dover he was a son of the late Roy and Ethel Showalter McClintock. Ken was also preceded in death by five brothers and sisters.
He retired from Blick Tool and Die in Dover after 20 years of service. Racing was Ken’s life, he was a car owner, and he loved building his own racing cars as well. When he wasn’t working, Ken could be found at Midvale Speedway, it was truly his home away from home.
He is survived by his children, Sherry (Richard Jr.) Schweitzer of New Philadelphia, Kevin (Angela) McClintock of Dover; granddaughter, Dr. Alicia (Craig) Manly of Rootstown; great granddaughter, Adalynn Manly; companion, Jean Stanley and his best friend for over 50 years, Bill Kilchenman.
Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. Per Ken’s wishes, there will be no services or calling hours. Those wishing to express their fondest memories of Ken may do so by visiting the online obituaries link on the funeral home’s website.
