Kenneth E. Stein, 75, of Sugarcreek died Saturday, August 13, 2005 at the Louis Stokes VA Hospital in Cleveland.
He retired from Sugarcreek Industries.
Born June 24, 1930 in Dover he was a son of the late Clarence and Minnie Lang Stein.
Ken enjoyed all sports, especially his beloved Indians and Browns. He also proudly served his country during the Korean War and was a member of the Army�(TM)s Big Red One.
Ken is survived by his wife, Lulu Belle Hendricks Stein with whom he celebrated 45 years of marriage on August 6, 2005.
He is also survived by two daughters, Nancy Stein of Sugarcreek and Barbara (John) Schlegel of Portland, Indiana; son, Kenneth W. Stein of Sugarcreek; seven brothers, Ray Stein of New Philadelphia, Pete (Heidi) Stein of California, Charlie (Barb) Stein of Oregon, Glenn “Boots” (Patricia) Stein of Dover, Gene Stein of New Philadelphia, Jim Stein of Dover and David (Dorothy) Stein of New Philadelphia; three sisters, Betty (Walter) Emery of Dover, Shirley (John) Stillion of New Philadelphia and Twila (Skip) Polen of Michigan; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at 1:00 pm in the Ridgecrest Memory Gardens with Rev. Welton Stein officiating. There are no calling hours. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory in Dover are handling arrangements.
