Kenneth K. Kiser, 93, of Dover died Tuesday, May 22, 2018 in the Community Hospice Truman House.
Born February 22, 1925 in New Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Edward and Emma Miller Kiser. Ken was also preceded in death by a son, Craig Kiser; daughter, Sue DeVecka; sisters, Hazel Pfouts, Gladys Kiser; brothers, Russ, Olin and Wayne Kiser.
Ken proudly served his country with the United States Army during WW II, following his discharge; he worked at Union Camp in Dover, having retired after 40 years of service as a Chemical Operator. He was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church in New Philadelphia and enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, camping and just being outdoors.
Ken will be sadly missed by his wife of almost 70 years, Doris Bloom Kiser, whom he married on October 30, 1948; children, David (Kathy) Kiser of New Philadelphia, Karen Ramsey, Mark (Celia) Kiser both of Texas; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 25 at 1:30 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Rev. Jon Long officiating. Interment will be in the East Avenue Cemetery at New Philadelphia. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Friday.
