Kenneth P. Scheiman

Kenneth P. Scheiman, 80, of Concorde Township, Ohio passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023 in the Park Village Health Care Center at Dover.

He was born on April 26, 1942 in Cleveland to the late Bernard and Victoria Chlopek Scheiman. Ken was also preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.

He proudly served his country with the United States Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis aboard the USS Independence. Following his discharge he held a variety of jobs including, being a Pilot, Flight Instructor, Machinist, and an all-around handyman who could fix just about anything. In his spare time, he enjoyed collecting model trains and going to antique car shows.

Ken is survived by his children, Kim (Steve) Wassem of Dover, Bruce (Michelle) Scheiman of Arizona; brother, Carl (Kathy) Scheiman of Maine; and one grandson, Garrett Wassem.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. A service celebrating Ken’s life will be held at a later date. Interment of the ashes will be in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at Rittman.
