Kenneth W. "Ken" Snyder

Kenneth W. “Ken” Snyder, age 58, of New Philadelphia, passed away Monday, March 25, 2024, at the Country Club Retirement Campus, Dover, following a brief illness.

Born August 14, 1965, in Dover, he was a son of the late Bill and Gladys (Kirkman) Snyder. Ken graduated from Tuscarawas Central Catholic High School, and was employed by Inca Engineered Wood Products in Dover. He was a special effects makeup artist, having his own business called Ken’s Kryptic Creations, and Ken was a collector of oddities. When he was in better health, he enjoyed spending all of his free time mountain biking and hiking.

Ken is survived by his son, Allek Snyder of New Philadelphia; his brother, David (Judy) Snyder of Dundee; his nieces and nephew, Christi, Marissa, Rachelle and Billy; and his former wife, Anita Gal of New Philadelphia.

Cremation is in the care of the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover. A celebration of his life will be announced later by his family on social media.
