Celebrating the life of Kenneth Thomas Albrecht who passed away on August 22nd, 2020.
Born in Minneapolis, MN, Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, Durrant (Jack) and
Marcella; brothers, Durrant (Sparky) and Chris. Kenny is survived by his wife, Patty; children, Jason (Rennae), Kenneth (Amy), Monica (Ross), Nick, Danielle, and Elisabeth; grandchildren, Shayla, Cameron, Alayna, Maddy, Tanner, Megan, Brooklyn, Anjel, and Izzabella; brothers, Dick (Kathy), Jim (Carla), Jerry (Anne), Scott (Nancy), Jack (Vicki), Tom (Shirley); sisters, Marcia, Renee, Shelly (Tim); sister-in-law, Rita, and many nieces and nephews.
Kenny shared his life with his loving wife, Patricia Albrecht of 38 years. Patty was the love of
his life and they enjoyed their adventures together. Not only was Kenny a loving husband, but he was an incredible father. He worked hard to provide, but always made the effort to spend quality time with his children. Kenny “Papa” loved his grandkids dearly, he spent time laughing, talking, dancing, fishing, and much more with the grandkids. Kenny never missed the chance to attend the grandkids activities even if it meant leaving work early or stopping something he was doing.
Kenny served as a coordinator and trustee at Authentic Church where he pioneered the Jail
Campus and Transformation-recovery group. Kenny was a dedicated employee of Progressive Foam Technologies. He loved his job and those he worked with. Kenny spent one of his last Saturdays at work coming in to paint the training room. Kenny made an impact on anyone he came in contact with. The amount of memories made are endless. Although we will deeply miss his smile, laugh, wisdom, advice, hugs, and more, Kenny wanted a “party” if anything ever happened to him. His life will be celebrated on September 4th and 5th at Authentic Church in New Philadelphia (201 Stonecreek Road NW, New Philadelphia).
Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 4th from 6pm-8pm and Saturday, September 5th from 4pm-6pm. A private family memorial service will be held following the visitation. Friends may view the service on the church’s website at: ac201.online.church
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made by mail to the Culpepper Foundation (a non-profit
through Progressive Foam Technologies) at 6753 Chestnut Ridge Road, Beach City, OH, 44608.
Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover.
