Kimberly A. Wolford

Kimberly A. Wolford, 62, passed away on March 9, 2025, in Dennison, Ohio. Born on June 19, 1962, in Canton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Cyril “Butch” Hoot and Anita Brown.

She attended Perry High School. She dedicated over 20 years of her life to Sterilite Plastics before retiring.

She found immense joy in spending time with her grandchildren, who were the highlight of her life. Her love for them was apparent to all who knew her; she cherished every moment spent making memories with them.

She leaves behind her four children: Shannon Thompson of Canton, Crystal Galpert of Canton, Tressa (Bubby) Gilmore of Deersville, and Thomas Bast of Mineral City; her beloved grandchildren, Latrell Hoot, Deon Bankston, Starlene Bankston, Kairi Bast, Aya Bast, Kaylee Steiner, Jacoby Galpert, and Chasittie Peterson; two great-grandchildren; her brother Chris Hoot of Canton; and sister, Lisa Slagle of East Sparta.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Maurice “Mo” Hoot.
