Lana S. Earle

Lana S. Earle, 71, of Dover passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018 in the Community Hospice Truman House.

Born March 16, 1947 in Dover, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Thelma Little Earle. Lana was also preceded in death by an infant brother, Thomas W. Earle.

She retired from Union Hospital after 25 years of service. Lana attended the New Life Church of God, First United Methodist Church in Dover and was a proud member of the Red Hat Society. She loved spending time with her close friends and enjoyed attending the sporting events of her great nieces and nephews.

Lana is survived by her brother, Richard C. “Dick” Earle of Switzerland; nieces, Carol Schreffler and Denise (Justin) Schreffler Autrey both of New Philadelphia; cousin, Dana Cowardin; seven great nieces and nephews and many special friends.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. A service celebrating Lana’s life will be held on Monday, July 23rd starting at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. David St. Aubin officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Monday.
