Larry C. Sisson

Larry C. Sisson, 75, a life resident of Bolivar died Monday, January 8, 2018 in the Hennis Care Centre at Bolivar.

Born December 22, 1942 in Canton, he was a son of the late Robert and Glenda Eckenweiler Sisson. Larry was also preceded in death by a brother, David Sisson.

He retired as a Custodian from the Tusky Valley School District after many years of service. He was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Strasburg and enjoyed being with his family and gardening.

A loving husband and father, Larry will be sadly missed by his wife of 49 years, Edith Miller Sisson, whom he married on October 5, 1968; son, Terry (Missy) Sisson of Strasburg, daughter, Kristi Sisson of Bolivar; granddaughter, Mercedes Sisson; step-grandchildren, Maddie and Lucas Burk and extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 11 at 11:00 am in the St. John United Church of Christ at Strasburg with Pastor Jason Rissler officiating. Interment will be in the Ft. Laurens Cemetery at Bolivar. Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover on Wednesday from 5-7 pm.
