Larry D. Lang

Larry D. Lang, 68, of Dover passed away on Monday, September 21, 2015 after courageously fighting numerous illnesses this past year.

He is survived by his daughter, Paula Griffith of Dover; two grandchildren, Dennis (Deanna) Griffith III of Uhrichsville and Cassondra Griffith of Dover; one precious great granddaughter, Ivayne Griffith of Uhrichsville and four siblings; Delbert (Marsha) Lang of Wooster, Cindy O'Neil of Dover, Dick (Melody) Lang of New Philadelphia and Cheryl Kiser of Texas. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Delores Tolley Lang along with a brother, Harry Thomas Lang.

Larry lived to spoil his grandchildren and spend time with them. His other hobbies included woodworking, riding his bike, going to yard sales, working on cars, playing on the computer, collecting Earnhardt memorabilia and working on his lawn. He enjoyed helping others and talking with the neighbors. Larry worked at Domino's Pizza in Dover for the past twenty years, they were his second family. He had completed many construction and remodeling jobs over the years he was self-employed. He was a caring and loving man who will be missed by many.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 24 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Pastor Matthew Slater officiating. Friends can call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
