Larry E. Green

Larry E. Green, 81, of Dover passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022 in the Schoenbrunn Health Care Center following a brief illness.

He was born on August 23, 1940 in Buckhannon, Virginia and was a son of the late Glenn and Fern Bassett Green. Larry was also preceded in death by five brothers, Alvie, Robert, Avery, Billy, Chester Green; sister, Lois Gordon; nephew, Rusty Green.

He worked for the City of Coral Springs, Florida and owned his own moving business while living in Connecticut. Larry enjoyed going to Flea Markets and collecting pocket watches, going on vacations and traveling the United States, watching western movies and going to local festivals and fairs.

Larry is survived by his companion of 18 years, Christina Weaver; children, Sara Cooper, Samantha Searls, Michael Green all of Florida; brother, Louie Green of Navarre; sisters, Betty Petty, Ann Louise Hulvey both of Florida; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. Graveside services will be held at a later date.
