Larry E. Green

Larry E. Green, 55, of Dennison, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, Apr. 9, 2003, after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Born May 16, 1947, in Minerva, he was a son of Donna L. Morrow Green Gilliam of Minerva, and the late Earl W. Green. Larry was a 1965 graduate of Minerva High School, and attended the Greer Institute, Chicago. He served honorably in the U.S. Army at Fort Sill, OK, from 1966 to 1968. Following his discharge, Larry was employed by Hercules Motors, Canton, and later by Simon Duplex, Inc., Dover.

He was an active member of the New Life Church of God, Dover. He enjoyed farming, and antique tractors and automobiles. Larry also enjoyed spending time with his dogs, Margo, Muffie and Dollie.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his loving and caring wife, Elaine Ferguson Green; a daughter, Aimee (Eric) Weaver of Bolivar; four brothers, Barry (Debbie) Green and Terry Joe Green, of Minerva, Garry (Cindy) Green of Louisville, and Jamie Gilliam of Leavittsburg.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, Apr. 12, 2003, at 11 a.m., in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover, with Pastor Dode Overton officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Uhrichsville.
