Larry E. Myers, 65, of Atwood Glens, died Saturday, November 12, 2005 in Aultman Hospital.

Born March 29, 1940 at Dover, he was the son of the late Edward “Ed” & Miriam Andreas Myers.

After graduating from Ashland High School, and then in 1964 from Clemson College (now Clemson University), he began a career in the brick business that would span for over 40 years.

He was also active with the Brick Institute of America, having served on its Engineering and Research Committee.

He was a life member of the Dover Elks and Dover Jaycees, and was also a member of the Atwood Yacht Club and Grace Lutheran Church

His sanctuary was on the water, whether fishing with friends and family or enjoying his private reflection time on his boat.

Larry had an incredible love for his family. He cherished his wife and treasured his children, instilling in each, his giving heart, forgiving spirit, and “old school” work ethic.

This fall he celebrated his 45th wedding anniversary with his loving wife, Roberta “Bobbie” Harter Myers, who survives.

Other survivors include: three children, Mark Myers of Akron, Mike Myers of New Phila., and Michelle Myers of Bolivar; and three brothers, Jim (Barb) Myers of Sugarcreek, Ken (Mary Lee) Myers of Camarillo, CA, and Dave (Becky) Myers of Ashland.
