Laura L. Stith

Laura L. Stith, 80, of New Philadelphia died Wednesday, February 23, 2000 at Union Hospital following a brief illness. Born October 5, 1919 in Rittman, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Isodore and Minnie Moine Strupe. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, helping people, gardening and walking in downtown New Philadelphia while wearing her white hat. Laura was preceded in death by her husband Edward Stith Sr. who died in 1968. She is survived by a son: Timothy and Sharon Stith of Brewster. Daughter: Kathy Stith of New Philadelphia. Three grandchildren: Nicole Krempasky, Kevin Patrick Stith and Michael Todd Stith. She was also preceded in death by a son: Edward "Eddie" Stith Jr. Sister: Wanda Abbott Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 28, 2000 at 7:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Rev. Glen Shedlock officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
