Lavera M. Green Stephan

LaVera M. Green Stephan, 81, of Dover passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018 in the Hennis Care Centre at Dover.

Born November 13, 1936 in Dover she was a daughter of the late Walter and Nora Gaskill Bitikofer. LaVera was also preceded in death by her husbands, George Green on April 14, 1975, Edgar Stephan on May 18, 2018; and a great granddaughter, Addison Russell.

LaVera retired from Joy Manufacturing as an Engineering Records Clerk after 30 years of service. She was a member of the Dover Moose, VFW and Eagles Club, and loved playing euchre with her friends.

LaVera is survived by her sons, James (Barbara) Green of Kentucky, Steve (Lisa) Green of Dover; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 12 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Rev. Brian Flood officiating. Interment will be in the Ridgecrest Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 pm.
