Lee A. Stilgenbauer, Sr., 63, of Dover passed peacefully into eternal life on Saturday, July 20, 2002 surrounded by his loving family.
He was retired from Beaver Excavating in Canton as a heavy equipment operator and was a member of the Ohio Operating Engineers.
Born January 29, 1939 in Dover he was a son of the Howard and Clara Espenschied Stilgenbauer Sr.
He attended Trinity Gospel Temple in canton. He enjoyed working around the house and on his car.
Lee is survived by two sons: Lee (Marge) Stilgenbauer, Jr. of Tuscarawas

Janet (Dale) Liggett of Strasburg

Christopher, Jonathan and Maddison McCoury

Three great grandchildren: Austin Reed, Mercedes Robiero Lopez and Sophia Belle

Numerous nieces, nephews and his good friend Irene. He is also survived by his two Pomeranians Benji and Casper.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Enid Garner
Two brothers: Howard Jr. and James Stilgenbauer.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2002 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Brother David Lombardi and Pastor Jason Snyder officiating. Interment will be at Dover Burial Park. Friends can call at the funeral home on Monday from 6-9 pm.
