Lena L. Hoffman

Lena L. Hoffman, 100, of Park Village Health Care Center, formerly of Marion St., Dover died Wednesday, September 29, 1999 in the center.

Born April 23, 1899 at Lock Seventeen (near Gnadenhutten), she was the daughter of the late Adam & Mary Dietrich Miller.

Lena was a member of the Indian Meadows Church of God and also formerly attended the First Church of God in New Philadelphia.  She was an avid gardener.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Hoffman, who died August 28, 1977.

She is survived by: two sons and two daughters, Olin (Jean) Hoffman of Canton, Mildred (Paul) Carper of Louisville, Arlene (Wayne) Mizer of Stone Creek, and William G. Hoffman of Port Washington, 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard and Frank Miller.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 2, at 11am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with pastor Bill Mallernee officiating.  Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park.  Friends can call at the funeral home Friday from 7-9pm and Saturday from 10-11am.
