Lena M. Grandison

Lena M. Grandison, 92, of Dover passed away on Friday, April 21, 2022, at Park Village Southside in New Philadelphia.

Born in Dover on March 23, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Mauro and Helen (Curico) Petrullo.

Lena was a graduate of Dover High School. She retired from GE in Dover, where she worked in the payroll department for 39 years.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dover. She loved dogs. She enjoyed trips to the park with her sisters and camping at Atwood Lake. Lena had a quick wit and was truly loved by all who knew her.

She married Harold Grandison, who preceded her in death in May of 1981. She was also preceded in death by her infant daughter, Melanie Grandison; her siblings; Maria Cowan, Tony Petrullo, Carmi Stauffer, Charles “Charlie” Petrullo, and Judy Neading.

She leaves behind her son; Douglas Grandison; sisters; Lucy Wheeler, and Betsy Walters; her sisters-in-law, Alice Petrullo and Jean Petrullo; brother-in-law, Lee Neading; along with several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Friday, April 29, 2022, from 11:00-1:00 pm. Father Jimmy Hatfield will officiate a funeral service at 1:00 pm.
