Leonard E. Robinson

Leonard E. "Buzz" Robinson, 89, of Strasburg died Thursday, August 9, 2012 in the Country Lawn Nursing Home at Navarre.

Born September 14, 1922 in Dennison he was a son of the late Elias and Ada Lyons Robinson. Buzz was also preceded in death by his wife, Alice M. Robinson on June 27, 1996. He was also preceded in death by a son, Leonard E. Robinson, Jr.; brothers, Theodore, Adrian and Elias "Charlie" Robinson; infant brother, Elias Robinson and a granddaughter, Tessa Jo Robinson.

He had retired from ODOT after many years of service. Buzz was a member of the Uhrichsville Moose and proudly served his country with the US Army during WW II.

He is survived by his son, Michael Robinson of Strasburg; grandchildren, Vicki (Thad) White, Stacy (Josh) Bitikofer, Angela (Jeff) Grove, Kasey and Terry Robinson and Mark (Stephanie) Haney; great grandchildren, Tessa and Trenton Bitikofer, Jaymis Robinson, Mila, Frank and Jeana Heldt, Dylan and Jayden Robinson, Madison Robinson and Kayla and Vanessa Grove

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 2:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Rev. Harry Milligan officiating. Interment will be in the Ridgecrest Memory Gardens where the Dover VFW will conduct military graveside services. Friends can call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
