Leroy E. Lehman D.D.S.

Dr. Leroy E. Lehman, 73, of 916 E. 3rd St., Dover, Ohio died Thursday, September 20, 2001 in the New Dawn Health Care Center following an extended illness.

He retired in 1993 from his dental practice in Dover where he practiced for over 40 years.

Born March 29, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of the late Oscar S. and Ruth Brubaker Lehman.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church at Dover where he was a former trustee and member of the Men�(TM)s Fellowship. He also enjoyed planting flowers around the church for many years. Dr. Lehman was also a life member of the Dover Kiwanis Club, member of the Dover Elks Lodge, and a former member of the Lapidary Club. He received his undergraduate degree from Hiram College and was a graduate of the Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry. He served in both the US Army and was a 1st Lt. In the US Air Force.

He is survived by his wife Kathryn Renaud Lehman with whom he would have celebrated 49 years of marriage on October 11.

He is also survived by two daughters and sons in law
Barbara (Richard) Taylor and Susan (Clifford) Easlick all of Dover and two grandchildren Keith (Shannon) Taylor of New Philadelphia and Steffanie Taylor of the home.

One sister Joan “Jody” (Dick) Bland of State College, Pa.

He was preceded in death by one son, David C. Lehman.

Funeral Services will be held Monday at 1:30 pm in the First United Methodist Church at Dover with Rev. Joseph Glassner officiating. Interment will be in the Ridgecrest Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home in Dover on Saturday from 4-6 pm. and at the church Monday from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.
