Lillian June Lillibridge

Lillian June Lillibridge, 92, of Dover died Saturday, August 17, 2013 in the New Dawn Retirement Center.

Born October 1, 1920 in New Philadelphia she was a daughter of the late Morris and Grace Simmers Lillibridge. June was also preceded in death by her son, Glenn Hykes; infant daughter, Lewis Grace Hykes and two sisters, Ruby Chapman and Ruth Miller.

She retired in 1983 from Alsco. June was an accomplished artist, but her passion was making and repairing porcelain and antique dolls to the delight of many folks in the area. She also enjoyed talking to people, especially during her many years at Seton Square. If asked, she had been there and done it all.

June is survived by her children, Richard (Mary) Hykes of Virginia, Thomas Hykes of Wisconsin and Helen Tarulli of New Philadelphia; seven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at New Philadelphia. There are no calling hours or services. Interment of the ashes will be in the East Avenue Cemetery at New Philadelphia.
